A message from the webinar Chair:
We welcome everyone to this Diagnostics webinar dedicated to the evolving landscape of uropathology. It is my pleasure to serve as Chair for today’s session, which brings together key perspectives from pathology and urology to discuss how our field is rapidly transforming through biomarkers and digital technologies.
Our first speaker, Dr. Angelo Cormio, will explore the growing role of tissue biomarkers in non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer, focusing on their relevance not only for diagnosis, but also for risk stratification and prognostic assessment—areas where molecular and immunohistochemical tools are becoming increasingly influential in clinical decision-making.
The second lecture, held by Prof. Alessandro Caputo, will guide us through current developments in digital and computational pathology applied to genitourinary diseases, highlighting how artificial intelligence, image analysis, and emerging digital workflows are reshaping diagnostic practice and research.
I would like to thank Diagnostics for supporting this event and all participants for joining us. I hope this webinar will stimulate discussion and foster collaboration across disciplines in the shared mission of improving patient care in uropathology.
