Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite submissions for this Special Issue entitled “Advances in Diagnostic Modalities for Benign Upper Gastrointestinal Disorders”. This issue aims to highlight recent innovations and emerging technologies that enhance the diagnosis, post-intervention surveillance, clinical decision-making, and risk stratification of benign upper gastrointestinal (UGI) conditions. Particular emphasis will be placed on innovative diagnostic techniques, artificial intelligence applications, and multidisciplinary approaches. We welcome original research and comprehensive reviews addressing early detection strategies, post-interventional follow-up modalities, and the application of radiologic and endoscopic techniques in diagnosing disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux, diverticular disease, esophageal motility disorders, and hiatal hernias. Contributions integrating multiple diagnostic tools to improve diagnostic precision and optimizing patient-centered outcomes are especially encouraged. Submissions may include endoscopic findings, radiologic assessments, real-world data analyses, and novel diagnostic frameworks aimed at improving clinical decision-making for patients suffering from benign UGI disorders.
