Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) represent the most common malignancies worldwide. This surge creates a significant healthcare burden, driving an urgent need for improved management strategies. While often curable, advanced cases pose challenges in treatment and prognosis. Current research offers exciting opportunities through advancements in diagnostics, minimally invasive treatments, and personalized therapies, making this a pivotal field for both academic research and clinical practice.
This Special Issue aims to present and disseminate the most recent advances related to the comprehensive management of NMSCs. We consider contributions addressing novel diagnostic techniques, innovative treatment approaches, and refined prognostic models that can shape future standards of care.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Novel diagnostic imaging and techniques.
- Surgical, radiotherapeutic, and topical/organ-sparing treatments.
- Systemic therapies for advanced disease.
- Molecular biomarkers for prognosis and treatment response.
- Epidemiology, prevention, and healthcare delivery.
