Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to present this Special Issue of Children: ‘Old and new therapeutic strategies in children with liver disease’. As Guest Editors of this issue, we look forward to collaborating with experts on topics of great importance to the pediatric community. Liver disease has always been a public health problem with few treatment options, particularly for cholestatic disorders. The topic has recently become very important due to advances in therapeutic strategies. New drugs have also been proposed that can change the outcome of some chronic liver diseases that sometimes require liver transplants. This Special Issue aims to provide an update on the old and new drugs for liver diseases and give an overview of the main currently available therapeutic strategies. Original articles and narrative or systematic reviews are welcome.
