Dear Colleagues,
Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) represents a major clinical challenge due to its high heterogeneity, aggressive behavior, and often late diagnosis. Advances in genomics and epigenomics have provided new insights into the molecular mechanisms driving OSCC, revealing potential biomarkers for early detection, prognostication, and therapeutic targeting. This Special Issue aims to collect high-quality original research and comprehensive reviews focusing on the genetic and epigenetic landscapes of OSCC, novel diagnostic approaches, and the development of targeted therapies. Contributions addressing tumor microenvironment interactions, molecular pathways, precision medicine approaches, and translational research are particularly encouraged. We seek to provide an up-to-date overview of the molecular basis of OSCC and its implications for improving patient outcomes.
The purpose of this Special Issue is to present new insights into molecular mechanisms, biomarkers, and therapeutic strategies in oral squamous cell carcinoma, and we would like to invite you to contribute to this effort.
This Special Issue welcomes reviews and original research articles, which should be submitted by 31 December 2026.
