Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Malignant Brain Tumors
This special issue belongs to the section “Clinical Research of Cancer“.
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Primary and secondary malignant brain tumors are associated with poor prognosis. Stereotactic radiosurgery delivers a high dose of radiation on a specific target with sub-millimeter accuracy while at the same time minimizing exposure of normal brain tissue to radiation. Stereotactic radiosurgery has been established as a first-line treatment for brain metastases and as a salvage treatment for selected patients with recurrent gliomas and malignant meningiomas. This Special Issue of Cancers, titled “Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Malignant Brain Tumors”, aims to highlight recent evidence and advancements in the management of primary and metastatic malignant brain tumors with stereotactic radiosurgery.
We invite you to submit your research, clinical, or review articles to this Special Issue on “Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Malignant Brain Tumors”.
