Dear Colleagues,
Year after year, the incidence of pancreatic cancer continues to rise; it is projected to become the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths by 2030. Over the past two decades, many advancements in the systemic and surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer have been made.
We are pleased to invite you to contribute your expertise in updating practicing clinicians on the advances made in treating pancreatic cancer as well as future directions.
This Special Issue aims to highlight the survival impact with new treatment regimens, perioperative and technical advancements and to highlight future directions in improving disease free survival and overall survival.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Clinical trials, targeted therapy in pancreatic cancer;
- Minimally invasive pancreatectomy;
- Neoadjuvant therapy;
- Adjuvant therapy;
- Role of chemoradiation;
- Borderline resectable pancreatic cancer;
- Locally advanced pancreatic cancer;
- Patient–caregiver dyad, caregiver distress.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
