Meet Us at the 4th Digital Heritage World Congress & Expo 2025, 8–13 September 2025, Siena, Italy

MDPI will be attending the 4th Digital Heritage (DH) World Congress & Expo, from 8 to 13 September 2025, at the San Niccolò Palace in Siena, Italy.

The Digital Heritage Congress and Expo are centred on core digital topics and heritage themes that are revised at every edition. It is a widely recognised event dedicated to the advancement of theory and practice within digital cultural heritage. The fourth edition of DH brings together leading international scientific organisations, initiatives, and events, all in one venue, with a prestigious joint publication. A groundbreaking public exhibition of cutting-edge digital heritage projects will also be set up. For more information about Digital Heritage Congress and Expo, you can visit the official website here.

Digital Heritage is a premier international event that unites multiple heritage domains and conferences under one platform. The idea for this event dates back to 1998, when it was first discussed as “Virtual Heritage” during a meeting in Japan with UNESCO, the VSMM Society, and other key organisations. It was officially formalised in 2013 at UNESCO by leaders from Virtual Systems & Multimedia, Eurographics GCH, VAST, and VMUST. Supported by the European Commission, UNESCO, and ICOMOS, Digital Heritage has become a critical platform for the intersection of digital technologies and cultural heritage.

We welcome you to visit the MDPI booth in the lobby of the San Niccolò historical building of the University of Siena, next to the conference rooms, where you can have face-to-face exchanges with our representatives, learn more about our open access publishing services, and acquire exciting gifts.

The following MDPI journals will be represented:
