Dear Colleagues,
The combined use of mineral and organic fertilizers, by increasing the efficiency of fertilizer nitrogen, enhances both the volume and quality of food production, thereby reducing the pressure of agriculture production on the human living environment.
This Special Issue aims to systematically explore the application potential, internal mechanisms and practical challenges of synergistic fertilization strategies. It focuses on cutting-edge research involving soil nutrient cycling, microbial regulation, precise fertilization optimization and farmland ecological risk assessment. We solicit original research and review works that reveal fertilization response mechanisms, optimize field management measures, and provide scientific and technical references for green and high-yield modern agricultural production.

Agronomy is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
