Cover Story: The inaugural Molecules4Life International Meeting, hosting over 130 participants, took place at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugal, from September 20th to 22nd. The event centered around advancements in new molecules or molecular configurations, exploring four key areas: therapeutic applications, drug delivery, sensors and diagnostics, and healthy food. The congress showcased 10 high-quality lectures, along with 35 oral and 50 poster presentations that not only stimulated critical thinking but also encouraged fruitful discussions among the participants. Beyond the scientific program, attendees enjoyed informal networking opportunities, including a Porto wine reception and a visit to a Douro wine farm, culminating in a congress dinner.
