Cover Story: Estimating the number of people in multiple contexts is crucial to deal with many security problems, including the management and distribution of people, for example, a concert or a subway car in which it is good not to crowd certain areas leaving others free, or performing statistical analysis, for example, analyzing protests in which it is important to understand the number of people involved. Density map estimation is another important task. It is important to know the spatial information, that is, to understand how the crowd is distributed within the scene.
