Cover Story: Imaging has evolved significantly over the last 30 years; nonetheless, data on brain imaging in pediatric patients with central nervous system invasive mold infection (IMD) are scarce. This manuscript describes the brain imaging abnormalities seen in immunocompromised children with CNS-IMD, as well as analyzes retrospectively whether specific imaging findings and sequences have a prognostic value. The results were correlated with outcome, namely, death, severe sequelae, or no neurological sequelae. View this paper
