Cover Story: The Latino population is the largest ethnic minority in the United States. Yet, evidence on how to best provide quality pediatric palliative care to Latino children is sparse, which leaves Latino children and families underserved and at risk for adverse experiences at the end-of-life. Latino cultural values, socioeconomic factors, discrimination, and language barriers play key roles in how Latino families experience palliative care. Clinical and research initiatives, as well as advocacy and policy reform, are needed to improve care for these children and their families. View this paper
