December 2022 - 45 articles

Cover Story: Nanoparticles agglomerate easily because of their high surface energy, which seriously reduces their tribological properties as lubricant additives. The Ag@PDA nano-additives with core–shell structures, prepared by chemical methods, have prominent dispersibility and stability in PAO. The synergistic effect of nano-additives and lubricating oil promotes the lubricating effect. The method is expected to be extended to the modification of other additives for enhancing the dispersibility of nanoparticles. View this paper
