We investigate the non-Markovian dynamics of quantum steering in a tripartite photonic system subject to dephasing noise. By developing a theoretical framework based on the single-photon dephasing model extended to three independent photons, we analyze the temporal evolution of steering measures SABC and SABC for two distinct classes of initial states: W-type entangled states and GHZ-type mixed entangled states. The system is studied under various environmental configurations, ranging from fully Markovian to fully non-Markovian regimes, with asymmetric distributions of memory effects across the three photons. Our results reveal that the dynamics of tripartite steering are highly sensitive to both the number of photons coupled to non-Markovian environments and the specific partition of the system being considered. For W-states, non-Markovian effects induce oscillatory behavior with death–revival cycles, where the intervals of sudden death and revival amplitudes depend critically on the distribution of memory effects. For GHZ-states, we observe multiple death–revival cycles in some configurations and prolonged preservation of steering without complete sudden death in others. Notably, we find that non-Markovian environments significantly influence the dynamics of quantum steering through information backflow effects, with their impact depending sensitively on the subsystem to which the environment is coupled and on the roles of the steering and steered parties. These findings demonstrate that non-Markovian effects can significantly influence the preservation and degradation of directional quantum correlations, with their impact depending strongly on the coupling configuration and the choice of steering and steered subsystems. This behavior provides useful insight into the control of quantum steering in photonic networks and related quantum information processing tasks. Full article

We introduce a quantum multiplexer (GHZ MUX) architecture that enables deterministic routing of an unknown qubit from a single sender to one of 2n receivers using only local tripartite Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states arranged in a binary tree. At each level of the hierarchy, a Bell-basis measurement and classical feed-forward propagate the encoded quantum information along a selected branch while maintaining the appropriate Pauli correction frame. Unlike quantum routing architectures that rely on globally entangled multipartite states, the proposed design composes small GHZ clusters into a modular teleportation hierarchy that requires only local entanglement generation and coherence. This structure achieves full input–output connectivity while preserving deterministic routing control and experimental feasibility for near-term small-scale quantum networks. Beyond routing functionality, we show that the same GHZ-tree structure naturally supports hidden-destination communication. We formalize this extension as the Hidden-Secret GHZ-Tree Routing (HS-GTR) protocol, in which the final receiver remains unknown to external observers and the transmitted quantum state may optionally be protected by a quantum one-time pad. This construction demonstrates that hierarchical GHZ routing can serve not only as a quantum switching architecture but also as a building block for privacy-preserving communication and multi-receiver key establishment in distributed quantum networks. The Wigner operator’s normal ordering form is deduced by using the method of integration within the ordered product of operators, and the operator’s Weyl ordering symbol is employed. The integration theory within the Weyl ordering product of operators is applied, and the Wigner operator’s Weyl ordering form is deduced. Then, the Wigner operator’s slice theorem is proposed, which helps project and display a new pure-state density operator. Thus, the quantization of classical tomography theory is realized. We illustrate the derivation of the bi- and tri-partite entangled state representations, respectively, which completes the argument. Full article

We present a utilization of the magnon Kerr effect to generate nonreciprocal genuine microwave entanglement in a hybrid system consisting of a yttrium iron garnet (YIG) sphere and three microwave cavities. Based on the quantum Langevin theory and linearization method under the condition of strong magnon driving, the system dynamics and covariance evolution are deduced and then applied to determinate the quantum correlations. It is found that three microwave cavities entangle with each other at the steady state. The basic root is that the Kerr nonlinearity can not only induce the enhanced parametric amplification of magnon but also cause the magnon frequency shift. Naturally, when the direction of the externally applied bias magnetic field is changed, switching of the magnon Kerr coefficient from positive to negative occurs and nonreciprocal tripartite entanglement among three microwave photons can be achieved. This may provide a fundamental resource for practical applications in quantum information processing and quantum networks. Full article

We present a graphical framework to represent entanglement in three-qubit states. The geometry associated with each entanglement class and type is analyzed, revealing distinct structural features. We explore the connection between this geometric perspective and the tangle, deriving bounds that depend on the entanglement class. Based on these insights, we conjecture a purely geometric expression for both the tangle and Cayley’s hyperdeterminant for non-generic states. As an application, we analyze the energy eigenstates of physical Hamiltonians, identifying the sufficient conditions for genuine tripartite entanglement to be robust under symmetry-breaking perturbations and level repulsion effects. Preserving quantum entanglement in multipartite systems under environmental decoherence is a critical challenge for quantum information processing. In this work, we investigate the dynamics of W-type entanglement in a system of three photons, focusing on the effects of Markovian and non-Markovian decoherence regimes. Using the lower bound of concurrence (LBC) as a measure of entanglement, we analyze the time evolution of the LBC for photons initially prepared in a W state under the influence of dephasing noise. We explore the dependence of entanglement dynamics on system parameters such as the dephasing angle and refractive-index difference, alongside environmental spectral properties. Our results, obtained within experimentally feasible parameter ranges, reveal how the enhancement of entanglement preservation can be achieved in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes according to the system parameters. These findings provide valuable insights into the robustness of W-state entanglement in tripartite photonic systems and offer practical guidance for optimizing quantum protocols in noisy environments. We present a systematic study on the effects of dynamical transfer and steady-state synchronization of quantum states in a hybrid optomechanical network consisting of two cavities, which carry atoms inside and interact via a common moving mirror such as the mechanical oscillator. It is found that a high fidelity transfer of Schrödinger’s cat and squeezed states between two cavities modes is possible. On the other hand, we demonstrate the synchronization effect of the cavity modes in a steady squeezed state with its high fidelity realized by the mechanical oscillator that intermediates the generation, transfer and stabilization of the squeezing. In this framework, we also study the generation and evolution of bipartite and tripartite entanglement and find its connection to the effects of quantum state transfer and synchronization. Particularly, when the transfer occurs at the maximal fidelity, any entanglement is almost zero, so the different cavity modes are disentangled. However, these modes become entangled when the two bosonic modes are synchronized in a stationary squeezed state. The results provided by the current study may find applications in quantum information technologies, in addition to the setups for metrology, where squeezed states are essential. Full article

We propose a scheme for the generation of photons from a vacuum via time-modulation of a quantum system indirectly coupled to the cavity field through some ancilla quantum subsystem. We consider the simplest case when the modulation is applied to an artificial two-level atom (we call ‘t-qubit’, that can be located even outside the cavity), while the ancilla is a stationary qubit coupled via the dipole interaction both to the cavity and t-qubit. We find that tripartite entangled states with a small number of photons can be generated from the system ground state under resonant modulations, even when the t-qubit is far detuned from both the ancilla and the cavity, provided its bare and modulation frequencies are properly adjusted. We attest our approximate analytic results by numeric simulations and show that photon generation from vacuum persists in the presence of common dissipation mechanisms. Full article

With progress in quantum technologies, the field of quantum networks has emerged as an important area of research. In the last few years, there has been substantial progress in understanding the correlations present in quantum networks. In this article, we study cloning as a prospective method to generate three party quantum networks which will help us to create larger networks. We analyze various quantum network topologies that can be created using cloning transformations. This would be useful in situations wherever the availability of entangled pairs is limited. In addition to that, we focus on the problem of distinguishing networks created by cloning from those that are created by distributing independently generated entangled pairs. We find that there are several states that cannot be distinguished using the Finner inequalities in the standard way. For such states, we propose an extension to the existing Finner inequality for triangle networks by further increasing the number of observers from three to four or six depending on the network topology. This takes into account the additional correlations that exist in the case of cloned networks. In the last part of the article, we use tripartite mutual information to distinguish cloned networks from networks created by independent sources and further use squashed entanglement as a measure to quantify the amount of dependence in the cloned networks. The spatial distribution of entanglement within a spin-1/2 Heisenberg star composed from a single central spin and three peripheral spins is examined in the presence of an external magnetic field using the Kambe projection method, which allows an exact calculation of the bipartite and tripartite negativity serving as a measure of the bipartite and tripartite entanglement. Apart from a fully separable polarized ground state emergent at high-enough magnetic fields, the spin-1/2 Heisenberg star exhibits at lower magnetic fields three outstanding nonseparable ground states. The first quantum ground state exhibits the bipartite and tripartite entanglement over all possible decompositions of the spin star into any pair or triad of spins, whereby the bipartite and tripartite entanglement between the central and peripheral spins dominates over that between the peripheral spins. The second quantum ground state has a remarkably strong tripartite entanglement between any triad of spins in spite of the lack of bipartite entanglement. The central spin of the spin star is separable from the remaining three peripheral spins within the third quantum ground state, where the peripheral spins are subject to the strongest tripartite entanglement arising from a two-fold degenerate W-state. Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering is a kind of powerful nonlocal quantum resource in quantum information processing such as quantum cryptography and quantum communication. Many criteria have been proposed in the past few years to detect steerability, both analytically and numerically, for bipartite quantum systems. We propose effective criteria for tripartite steerability and genuine tripartite steerability of three-qubit quantum states by establishing connections between the tripartite steerability (resp. genuine tripartite steerability) and the tripartite entanglement (resp. genuine tripartite entanglement) of certain corresponding quantum states. From these connections, tripartite steerability and genuine tripartite steerability can be detected without using any steering inequalities. The “complex cost” of determining tripartite steering and genuine tripartite steering can be reduced by detecting the entanglement of the newly constructed states in the experiment. Detailed examples are given to illustrate the power of our criteria in detecting the (genuine) tripartite steerability of tripartite states. Full article

Quantum entanglement is a unique phenomenon of quantum mechanics, which has no classical counterpart and gives quantum systems their advantage in computing, communication, sensing, and metrology. In quantum sensing and metrology, utilizing an entangled probe state enhances the achievable precision more than its classical counterpart. Noise in the probe state preparation step can cause the system to output unentangled states, which might not be resourceful. Hence, an effective method for the detection and classification of tripartite entanglement is required at that step. However, current mathematical methods cannot robustly classify multiclass entanglement in tripartite quantum systems, especially in the case of mixed states. In this paper, we explore the utility of artificial neural networks for classifying the entanglement of tripartite quantum states into fully separable, biseparable, and fully entangled states. We employed Bell’s inequality for the dataset of tripartite quantum states and train the deep neural network for multiclass classification. This entanglement classification method is computationally efficient due to using a small number of measurements. At the same time, it also maintains generalization by covering a large Hilbert space of tripartite quantum states. Full article

According to the single-mode approximation applied to two different mo des, each associated with different uniformly accelerating reference frames, we present analytical expression of the Minkowski states for both the ground and first excited states. Applying such an approximation, we study the entanglement property of Bell and Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states formed by such states. The corresponding entanglement properties are described by studying negativity and von Neumann entropy. The degree of entanglement will be degraded when the acceleration parameters increase. We find that the greater the number of particles in the entangled system, the more stable the system that is studied by the von Neumann entropy. The present results will be reduced to those in the case of the uniformly accelerating reference frame. Full article

We study both pentapartite GHZ and W-class states in the noninertial frame and explore their entanglement properties by carrying out the negativities including 1-4, 2-3, and 1-1 tangles, the whole entanglement measures such as algebraic and geometric averages π5 and Π5, and von Neumann entropy. We illustrate graphically the difference between the pentapartite GHZ and W-class states. We find that all 1-4, 2-3 tangles and the whole entanglements, which are observer dependent, degrade more quickly as the number of accelerated qubits increases. The entanglements of these quantities still exist even at the infinite acceleration limit. We also notice that all 1-1 tangles of pentapartite GHZ state Nαβ=NαIβ=NαIβI=0 where α,β(A,B,C,D,E), whereas all 1-1 tangles of the W-class state Nαβ,NαIβ and NαIβI are unequal to zero, e.g., Nαβ=0.12111 but NαIβ and NαIβI disappear at r>0.61548 and r>0.38671, respectively. We notice that the entanglement of the pentapartite GHZ and W-class quantum systems decays faster as the number of accelerated particles increases. Moreover, we also illustrate the difference of von Neumann entropy between them and find that the entropy in the pentapartite W-class state is greater than that of GHZ state. The von Neumann entropy in the pentapartite case is more unstable than those of tripartite and tetrapartite subsystems in the noninertial frame. Full article

The “ER = EPR” conjecture, conceived by Maldacena and Susskind, is grounded on the notion that a gravitational theory in the bulk is dual to the corresponding quantum field theory on the boundary in accordance to the AdS/CFT correspondence. The conjecture pertains to the idea that Einstein-Rosen (ER) spacetime bridges and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) quantum entanglement may be considered as dually equivalent. Since ER bridges refer to the connectivity between black holes, the “ER = EPR” conjecture implies that black holes connected by ER bridges are entangled, and conversely, that entangled black holes are connected by ER bridges. However, the instance of the maximally entangled tripartite (GHZ) quantum state points to the necessity of devising a model of non-classical Planck scale ER bridges going beyond the standard description of these bridges in spacetime. Based on the topological structure of the maximally entangled GHZ state, we propose that a universal topological link, called the Borromean rings, furnishes a particular linking structure that is able to unravel the equavalence between entanglement and wormholes, and thus, to address the validity of the “ER = EPR” conjecture beyond the initial context of the AdS/CFT correspondence. As a consequence, we propose the explicit construction of distinguishable extensions of the smooth classical spacetime manifold taking place in the transition to the quantum gravity regime according to a naturally induced physical criterion of gravitational generic properties following from this intrinsic topological qualification of the “ER = EPR” conjecture.
