Gastric-type cervical adenocarcinoma (GCA) is a rare and aggressive subtype of cervical adenocarcinoma. Despite its clinical significance, its molecular carcinogenesis and therapeutic targets remain poorly understood. This study aimed to compare the clinicopathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular profiles of GCA and usual-type cervical adenocarcinoma (UCA), exploring prognostic and therapeutic biomarkers in a Japanese population. A total of 110 cervical adenocarcinoma cases, including 16 GCA and 94 UCA cases, were retrospectively analyzed for clinicopathological features, and a panel of immunohistochemical markers was assessed. Sanger sequences were performed for the KRAS, PIK3CA, and BRAF genes, and survival and clinicopathological correlations were assessed using Kaplan–Meier and Cox regression analyses. GCA was significantly associated with more aggressive features than UCA, including lymph node involvement, advanced FIGO stages, increasing recurrence rate, and poor survival status. High ARID1B expression was observed in a subset of GCA cases and correlated with worse progression-free and overall survival. Additionally, PD-L1 expression was more frequent in GCA than UCA and was associated with unfavorable prognostic factors. Conversely, UCA cases showed strong p16 expression, supporting their HPV-driven pathogenesis. Molecular profiling revealed KRAS and PIK3CA mutations in both subtypes, while BRAF mutations were identified exclusively in GCA. These findings reveal distinct clinical and molecular profiles for both tumor types and underscore ARID1B and PD-L1 as predictive prognostic and therapeutic biomarkers in GCA, implicating the use of subtype-specific treatment strategies. Background: The development of brain metastases (BM) is a relatively uncommon but significantly adverse event in the spread of colorectal cancer (CRC). Although management of CRC BM has improved with advances in imaging and systemic therapies, clinical outcomes remain poor. Methods: This retrospective cohort study used the U.S. National Cancer Database to evaluate survival outcomes, treatment patterns, and prognostic factors in CRC patients diagnosed with BM between 2010 and 2020. Patients with isolated brain-only metastases formed the primary analytic cohort, while those with additional extracranial metastases were included for descriptive comparison. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards and logistic regression models were used to assess factors associated with of survival. Proportional hazards assumptions were tested using Schoenfeld residuals. Accelerated failure time models were also employed. Results: From a cohort of 1,040,877 individuals with CRC, 795 had metastatic disease present along with relevant data, of which 296 had isolated BM. Median overall survival (mOS) in BM-only metastatic disease group was 7.82 months (95% CI: 5.82–9.66). The longest survival was observed among patients treated with stereotactic radiosurgery combined with systemic therapy (SRS+Sys), with a median OS of 23.26 months (95% CI: 17.51–41.95) and a 3-year survival rate of 35.8%. In adjusted Cox models, SRS, systemic therapy, and definitive surgery of the primary site were each independently associated with reduced hazard of death. Rectal cancer patients had longer survival than those with colon primaries (mOS: 10.35 vs. 6.08 months). Age, comorbidity burden, and insurance status were not associated with survival in adjusted analyses. Conclusions: SRS+Sys was associated with longer survival compared to other treatment strategies. However, treatment selection is highly dependent on individual clinical factors such as performance status, comorbidities, and disease extent; therefore, these findings must be interpreted with caution Future prospective studies incorporating molecular and biomarker data are warranted to better guide care in this rare and high-risk group. Introduction and Aim: Sarcopenia has emerged as a key prognostic factor in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), with potential implications for clinical decision-making. This study aimed to assess the association between sarcopenia and clinical outcomes, mortality, and amputation, using simple, accessible screening tools in a CLTI population. Methods: In this prospective, single-center study conducted between December 2023 and December 2024, 170 patients with CTLI were enrolled. Sarcopenia screening was performed using the SARC-F (strength, assistance in walking, rising from a chair, climbing stairs, falls) questionnaires, handgrip strength measurement, and calf circumference, adjusted for body mass index and sex. The primary outcome was 6-month all-cause mortality and/or major amputation. Results: Sarcopenia was identified in 77 patients (45.3%). Compared to non-sarcopenic individuals, sarcopenic patients were significantly older. They exhibited greater functional impairment, as well as poorer nutritional and muscle status. They also had significantly higher in-hospital mortality (16.9% vs. 3.2%, p = 0.002), 30-day mortality (24.7% vs. 4.3%, p = 0.001), and 6-month mortality (50.6% vs. 15.1%, p = 0.001). Sarcopenia was significantly associated with the primary outcome in univariate analysis (HR: 2.05; 95% CI: 1.31–3.20; p = 0.002) and remained an independent predictor after multivariate adjustment (HR: 1.95; 95% CI: 1.01–3.79; p = 0.048). Conclusions: Sarcopenia is a strong, independent predictor of poor outcome in patients with CLTI. Its detection through simple tools offers an easy and cost-effective strategy to improve risk stratification and guide early intervention through exercise-based therapy. Full article

Background/Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global cancer care. This study compared gastric cancer surgical outcomes before and during the pandemic in Turkey. We also aimed to analyze the impact of the pandemic and factors on survival and mortality in gastric cancer patients. Materials and Methods: This retrospective, multicenter cohort study included 324 patients from three tertiary centers in Turkey who underwent gastric cancer surgery between January 2018 and December 2022. Patients were stratified into Pre-COVID-19 (n = 150) and COVID-19 Era (n = 174) groups. Comprehensive demographic, surgical, pathological, and survival data were analyzed. To identify factors independently associated with postoperative mortality, a multivariable logistic regression model was applied. For evaluating predictors of long-term survival, multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression analysis was conducted. Results: The median time from diagnosis to surgery was comparable between groups, while the time from surgery to pathology report was significantly prolonged during the pandemic (p = 0.012). Laparoscopic surgery (p = 0.040) and near-total gastrectomy (p = 0.025) were more frequently performed in the Pre-COVID-19 group. Although survival rates between groups were similar (p = 0.964), follow-up duration was significantly shorter in the COVID-19 Era (p < 0.001). Comparison between survivor and non-survivor groups showed that several variables were significantly associated with mortality, including larger tumor size (p < 0.001), greater number of metastatic lymph nodes (p < 0.001), elevated preoperative CEA (p = 0.001), CA 19-9 (p < 0.001), poor tumor differentiation (p = 0.002), signet ring cell histology (p = 0.003), lymphovascular invasion (p < 0.001), and perineural invasion (p < 0.001). Multivariable logistic regression identified total gastrectomy (OR: 2.14), T4 tumor stage (OR: 2.93), N3 nodal status (OR: 2.87), and lymphovascular invasion (OR: 2.87) as independent predictors of postoperative mortality. Cox regression analysis revealed that combined tumor location (HR: 1.73), total gastrectomy (HR: 1.56), lymphovascular invasion (HR: 2.63), T4 tumor stage (HR: 1.93), N3 nodal status (HR: 1.71), and distant metastasis (HR: 1.74) were independently associated with decreased overall survival. Conclusions: Although gastric cancer surgery continued during the COVID-19 pandemic, some delays in pathology reporting were observed; however, these did not significantly affect the timing of adjuvant therapy or patient outcomes. Importantly, pandemic timing was not identified as an independent risk factor for mortality in multivariable logistic regression analysis, nor for survival in multivariable Cox regression analysis. Instead, tumor burden and aggressiveness—specifically advanced stage, lymphovascular invasion, and total gastrectomy—remained the primary independent determinants of poor prognosis. While pandemic-related workflow delays occurred, institutional adaptability preserved oncologic outcomes. Full article

Background/Objectives: Biliary tract cancers (BTCs) are aggressive malignancies with a poor prognosis. Surgery remains the only curative option, yet recurrence rates are high, and the role of adjuvant chemotherapy remains debated. This study aims to evaluate the impact of adjuvant chemotherapy and prognostic factors on survival outcomes in resected BTCs. Methods: We conducted a retrospective multicenter study analyzing patients diagnosed with intrahepatic (iCCA) and extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (eCCA) or gallbladder cancer (GBC) who underwent curative-intent surgical resection between 1999 and 2023. Demographic, clinicopathological, and treatment data were collected from institutional databases. Survival outcomes were assessed using Kaplan–Meier analysis, and prognostic factors were identified through Cox proportional hazards regression. Results: A total of 155 patients were included, with a median follow-up of 84.6 months. The cohort comprised 38.7% iCCA, 31.6% eCCA, and 29.7% GBC. R0 resection was achieved in 77.4% of cases, while lymph node involvement was present in 39.4%. Median overall survival (OS) significantly varied by stage (p < 0.001), ranging from >60 months for stage I to ~12 months for stage IVA. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status (PS) emerged as the strongest independent prognostic factor for OS (p < 0.001). Adjuvant chemotherapy, administered to 49.0% of patients, did not significantly improve OS in the overall cohort (p = 0.899). However, subgroup analyses suggested potential benefits in iCCA and eCCA but not in GBC. High CA19-9 levels and vascular invasion were associated with poorer survival outcomes. Conclusions: This study highlights the prognostic significance of ECOG PS, resection margin status, lymph node involvement, and CA19-9 levels in resected BTCs. The lack of a clear survival benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy underscores the need for improved therapeutic strategies. Future research should focus on refining risk stratification models and identifying more effective adjuvant treatments to enhance long-term survival outcomes in patients with BTC. Full article

Hydrocephalus is a frequently observed congenital malformation of the central nervous system in domestic animals; however, its occurrence in wild species remains underreported. This study documents a clinical case of congenital hydrocephalus in a red fox cub (Vulpes vulpes) admitted to the “Visul Luanei” Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. The individual exhibited neurological deficits characterized by depressed mental status, incoordination, dromomania, behavior changes, and blindness. Diagnostic imaging, including radiography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), revealed a domed cranial morphology and severe dilation of the ventricular system. Notably, the lateral ventricles were markedly enlarged, with the absence of the septum pellucidum, resulting in a unified ventricular cavity. During electroencephalography (EEG) performed under general anesthesia, a high voltage and low frequency, predominantly featuring delta waves background activity was observed on all traces. Due to the poor prognosis and lack of clinical improvement, euthanasia was performed. This case contributes to the limited knowledge regarding central nervous system malformations in wild canids and underscores the need for further research on congenital neurological disorders in wildlife species. Seedling transplantation, a pivotal component in advancing the cultivation of vegetables and cash crops, significantly bolsters crops’ resilience against drought, cold, pests, and diseases, while substantially enhancing yields. The implementation of transplanting machinery not only remarkably alleviates the labor-intensive nature of transplantation but also elevates the precision and uniformity of the process, thereby facilitating mechanized plant protection and harvesting operations. This article summarizes the research status and development trends of mechanized field transplanting technology and equipment. It also analyzes and summarizes the types and current status of typical representative automatic seedling picking mechanisms. Based on the current research status, the challenges of mechanized transplanting technology were analyzed, mainly the following: insufficient integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy; the standards for each stage of transplanting are not perfect; the adaptability of existing transplanting machines is poor; the level of informatization and intelligence of equipment is low; the lack of innovation in key components, such as seedling picking and transplanting mechanisms; and the proposed solutions to address the issues. Corresponding solutions are proposed, such as the following: strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration; establishing standards for transplanting processes; enhancing transplanter adaptability; accelerating intelligentization and digitalization of transplanters; strengthening the theoretical framework; and performance optimization of transplanting mechanisms. Finally, the development direction of future fully automatic transplanting machines was discussed, including the following: improving the transplanting efficiency and quality of transplanting machines; integrating research and development of testing, planting, and seedling supplementation for transplanting machines; unmanned transplanting operations; and fostering collaborative industrial development. Background: Advanced and recurrent vulvar squamous cell carcinoma (VSCC) presents a major therapeutic challenge with limited treatment options and poor outcomes. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have shown efficacy in other HPV-associated malignancies, but their role in VSCC remains poorly defined due to the rarity of the disease and limited clinical trial data. Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis following PRISMA guidelines and registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251067565). A comprehensive literature search identified prospective clinical trials evaluating ICIs in patients with advanced, unresectable, recurrent, or metastatic VSCC. The primary outcomes included objective response rate (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and safety. Risk of bias was assessed using the MINORS tool. Meta-analyses were performed using random-effects models, with subgroup analyses based on PD-L1 status and treatment regimens (monotherapy vs. combination therapy). Results: Six non-randomized single-arm trials involving 181 patients were included. The pooled ORR was 21%, with higher response rates observed in combination therapy (46%) compared to monotherapy (11%), though not statistically significant. Median PFS and OS were 2.2 months and 6.4 months, respectively. ORRs were similar between PD-L1-positive and PD-L1-negative subgroups. A safety analysis showed treatment-related adverse events (AEs) in 73% of patients and grade ≥ 3 AEs in 23%. The incidence of treatment-related death was 3%. Conclusions: ICIs demonstrate modest but durable efficacy and an acceptable safety profile in advanced VSCC. The current evidence supports their use in selected patients. However, response variability and the lack of reliable predictive biomarkers, such as PD-L1 or HPV status, underscore the need for biomarker-driven clinical trials and improved patient selection strategies. Background/Objectives: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with FLT3 internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD) mutations carries a poor prognosis. While FLT3 inhibitors like midostaurin show benefits in combination with chemotherapy, the role of allelic ratio (AR), NPM1 mutation status, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) remains uncertain. Real-world data can help refine prognostic classification and treatment strategies. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 37 fit patients with FLT3-ITD AML treated with standard “7+3” chemotherapy, with and without midostaurin, between 2013 and 2022. Patients were stratified by FLT3-ITD AR, NPM1 status, and treatment approach. Outcomes assessed included complete remission (CR), disease-free survival (DFS), and overall survival (OS). Results: Overall, 67.6% achieved CR/CRi. Response rates did not differ significantly by AR (low vs. high: 66.7% vs. 69.2%) or midostaurin use (72.6% vs. 60%; p = 0.49). NPM1 mutations were associated with improved DFS (10.3 vs. 3 months, p = 0.036) but not OS. HSCT, performed in 54.1% of patients, mainly in first remission (CR1), significantly prolonged DFS (not reached vs. 5.3 months, p = 0.005) and remained an independent predictor in multivariate analysis (HR: 0.160, p = 0.039). OS (median 15.1 months) did not vary significantly across subgroups. Among patients achieving CR1, OS was significantly longer in those who underwent HSCT after midostaurin-based induction compared to those not transplanted (median OS not reached vs. 12.8 months; 95% CI, 6.9–18.7; p = 0.045), whereas no significant benefit was observed after standard induction. In a landmark analysis restricted to patients transplanted in CR1, those who had received midostaurin-based induction showed a trend toward improved OS compared to those treated with standard induction (median OS not reached vs. 11.5 months; 95% CI, 0.5–25.0; p = 0.086). Conclusions: This real-life study supports the importance of NPM1 mutations and HSCT in CR1, especially in the midostaurin era, for improving DFS in FLT3-ITD AML. These findings support updated guidelines for reducing the prognostic weight of AR and highlight the need for improved post-remission strategies in this setting. Full article

Predictive Value of the Glasgow Prognostic Score for Prognosis in Patients with Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Treated with Curative Radiotherapy

Background/Objectives: Hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HPSCC) carries a poor prognosis, and reliable, inexpensive biomarkers are needed to refine risk-stratified treatment. The Glasgow Prognostic Score (GPS), integrating C-reactive protein and albumin, reflects systemic inflammation and nutritional status, but its prognostic utility in curative radiotherapy for HPSCC remains unclear. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 98 consecutive patients with pathologically confirmed HPSCC who received definitive tomotherapy (70 Gy in 35 fractions) from June 2015 to February 2024 at a single tertiary center. Pretreatment GPS was classified as 0–2. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were assessed by Cox proportional hazards models, which evaluated associations between GPS and other clinical parameters. Results: Median age was 68 years (range 41–89); 92% were male. GPS distribution was 0 in 74 patients (76%), 1 in 18 (18%), and 2 in 6 (6%). After a median follow-up of 36.2 months, 3-year OS and PFS for the whole cohort were 78.7% and 51.7%, respectively. Patients with GPS 0 showed significantly higher 3-year OS than those with GPS 1–2 (83.6% vs. 62.2%; p = 0.023). On multivariate analysis, elevated GPS (1–2) remained an independent predictor of worse OS (hazard ratio [HR] 2.62, 95% CI 1.03–6.70; p = 0.044) alongside poor performance status and advanced stage. Conclusions: Pretreatment GPS independently stratifies overall survival in HPSCC patients undergoing curative radiotherapy, complementing established clinical factors. Because CRP and albumin are routinely available, GPS may assist in identifying high-risk patients who could benefit from intensified multidisciplinary treatment. Prospective multicenter studies are warranted to validate these findings. Full article

Sarcopenia is a musculoskeletal, progressive, and generalized disease characterized by decreased muscle strength and mass, leading to reduced quality of life. Sarcopenia is directly related to age, a sedentary lifestyle, and poor nutrition. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of 12-week progressive intensity Resistance Training (RT) associated with nutritional advice on the frequency of sarcopenia in older adults. A total of 74 older adults (37 in the intervention group and 37 in the control group), with a mean age of 69.1 ± 6.85 years, were included in the study. The sarcopenia status of the participants was assessed at baseline and after a 12-week intervention. In the intervention group, resistance training combined with nutritional counseling reduced the prevalence of sarcopenia from 35.14% to 0% (p < 0.001). Additionally, participants in the intervention group showed significant improvements in handgrip strength (from 27.70 ± 10.71 to 30.24 ± 10.38 kg), chair stand test performance (from 14.04 ± 3.46 to 11.67 ± 1.80 s), and time up and go test (from 7.49 ± 1.20 to 6.74 ± 0.95 s) (p < 0.05). On the other hand, the control group increased the incidence of sarcopenia (p < 0.001). After 12 weeks, progressive intensity RT associated with nutritional advice proved to be an effective treatment to reverse sarcopenia and help participants remain non-sarcopenic. In addition, the results of this study provide information about efficient and non-pharmacological sarcopenia treatment. Full article

The prognosis of sarcopenia is poor in cancer patients. Recently, urinary titin, a biomarker of muscle damage, has been suggested as a potential marker for sarcopenia. However, its utility in patients with unresectable digestive malignancies remains unclear. In addition, sex differences have been reported in the association between sarcopenia and urinary titin levels. This study aimed to evaluate urinary titin as a diagnostic marker for unresectable digestive malignancies, focusing on sex differences. This retrospective study enrolled 96 patients (58 males, 38 females; median age 70), and urinary titin was evaluated as a diagnostic biomarker in relation to clinical factors (e.g., age, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status [ECOG PS], albumin [Alb]) and muscle indicators (e.g., psoas muscle index [PMI], handgrip strength). In male patients, urinary titin levels were significantly higher in the sarcopenia subgroup (5.78 vs. 2.79 pmol/mgCr, p = 0.008), and multivariate analyses identified urinary titin as an independent predictor of sarcopenia (odds ratio 13.4, p = 0.028). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis demonstrated fair diagnostic performance (area under the curve [AUC] 0.729), with an optimal cutoff value of 3.676 pmol/mgCr. Urinary titin may serve as a useful non-invasive diagnostic biomarker for sarcopenia in patients with unresectable digestive malignancies, particularly in males. These findings suggest that sex-specific approaches are required for sarcopenia assessment with urinary titin. Full article

Background/Objectives: Pelvic exenteration (PE) might be a curative option for patients with advanced pelvic malignancies. Due to its significant morbidity and mortality rates, PE necessitates meticulous patient selection, and a comprehensive understanding of disease spread. This study outlines the experience at a single tertiary referral center and investigates prognostic factors influencing survival post-PE, thereby guiding clinical decision-making processes. Methods: Patients undergoing PE for advanced pelvic gynecological malignancies between 01/2016 and 12/2023 were retrospectively analyzed using a prospectively managed database. Eligibility for PE was determined through individualized tumor board evaluations based on CT/MRI imaging, excluding patients with distant metastases. Baseline demographic and clinical characteristics, operative details, complication rates, and histopathological findings were assessed using univariate and multivariate regression analyses. Disease-free (DFS) and overall survival (OS) were assessed by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Poor outcome prognostic factors were identified, outlining an optimal candidate profile for PE. Results: A total of 70 patients were included. The median age was 54.5 years. Forty-three patients (61.4%) presented with recurrent disease and the majority were diagnosed with cervical cancer (n = 48, 68.6%). Total PE was performed in 40 patients (57.1%), with complete tumor resection achieved in 68.6% of patients (n = 48). Sixteen patients (22.8%) experienced grade IV/V complications. Median DFS and OS were 8.2 and 16.4 months, respectively. Multivariate analysis identified R1 resection status and para-aortic lymph node involvement as independent negative prognostic factors. Conclusions: PE is a viable option for selected patients with advanced primary and recurrent pelvic gynecological malignancies. When complete tumor resection is feasible, patients may derive benefit from PE, although the risk of severe perioperative complications must be carefully evaluated. Full article

Background: Prehabilitation programs improve postoperative outcomes in vulnerable patients undergoing major surgery. However, current screening tools such as the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) may lack the sensitivity needed to identify those who would benefit most. Muscle quality assessed by Computed Tomography (CT), specifically muscle radiodensity in Hounsfield Units (HUs), has emerged as a promising alternative for risk stratification. Objective: To evaluate the prognostic performance of CT-derived muscle radiodensity in predicting adverse postoperative outcomes in colorectal cancer patients, and to compare it with the performance of the MUST score. Methods: This single-center cross-sectional study included 201 patients with non-metastatic colon cancer undergoing elective laparoscopic resection. Patients were stratified based on enrollment in a multimodal prehabilitation program, either within an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol or a non-ERAS pathway. Nutritional status was assessed using MUST, SARC-F questionnaire (strength, assistance with walking, rise from a chair, climb stairs, and falls), and the Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition (GLIM) criteria. CT scans at the L3 level were analyzed using automated segmentation to extract muscle area and radiodensity. Postoperative complications and hospital stay were compared across nutritional screening tools and CT-derived metrics. Results: MUST shows limited sensitivity (<27%) for predicting complications and prolonged hospitalization. In contrast, CT-derived muscle radiodensity demonstrates higher discriminative power (AUC 0.62–0.69), especially using a 37 HU threshold. In the non-ERAS group, patients with HU ≤ 37 had significantly more complications (33% vs. 15%, p = 0.036), longer surgeries, and more severe events (Clavien–Dindo ≥ 3). Conclusions: Opportunistic CT-based assessment of muscle radiodensity outperforms traditional screening tools in identifying patients at risk of poor postoperative outcomes, and may enhance patient selection for prehabilitation strategies like the ERAS program. The scenario adaptability of agricultural machinery chassis in hilly and mountainous regions has become a key area of innovation in modern agricultural equipment development in China. Due to the fragmented nature of farmland, steep terrain (often exceeding 15°), complex topography, and limited suitability for mechanization, traditional agricultural machinery experiences significantly reduced operational efficiency—typically by 30% to 50%—along with poor mobility. These limitations impose serious constraints on grain yield stability and the advancement of agricultural modernization. Therefore, enhancing the scenario-adaptive performance of chassis systems (e.g., slope adaptability ≥ 25°, lateral tilt stability > 30°) is a major research priority for China’s agricultural equipment industry. This paper presents a systematic review of the global development status of agricultural machinery chassis tailored for hilly and mountainous environments. It focuses on three core subsystems—power systems, traveling systems, and leveling systems—and analyzes their technical characteristics, working principles, and scenario-specific adaptability. In alignment with China’s “Dual Carbon” strategy and the unique operational requirements of hilly–mountainous areas (such as high gradients, uneven terrain, and small field sizes), this study proposes three key technological directions for the development of intelligent agricultural machinery chassis: (1) Multi-mode traveling mechanism design: Aimed at improving terrain traversability (ground clearance ≥400 mm, obstacle-crossing height ≥ 250 mm) and traction stability (slip ratio < 15%) across diverse landscapes. (2) Coordinated control algorithm optimization: Designed to ensure stable torque output (fluctuation rate < ±10%) and maintain gradient operation efficiency (e.g., less than 15% efficiency loss on 25° slopes) through power–drive synergy while also optimizing energy management strategies. (3) Intelligent perception system integration: Facilitating high-precision adaptive leveling (accuracy ± 0.5°, response time < 3 s) and enabling terrain-adaptive mechanism optimization to enhance platform stability and operational safety. By establishing these performance benchmarks and focusing on critical technical priorities—including terrain-adaptive mechanism upgrades, energy-drive coordination, and precision leveling—this study provides a clear roadmap for the development of modular and intelligent chassis systems specifically designed for China’s hilly and mountainous regions, thereby addressing current bottlenecks in agricultural mechanization.
