The lips, due to their unique anatomical characteristics of a thin stratum corneum, the absence of sebaceous glands, and limited melanin content are particularly vulnerable to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, necessitating specialized photoprotective care. While facial sunscreens are widely available, the development of lip-specific sun protection products remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze technological trends and innovations in lip photoprotection by reviewing patents published between 2014 and 2024. A comprehensive patent search using the IPC code A61Q19 and the keywords “lip” and “sunscreen” identified 17 relevant patents across China, the United States, and Japan. The patents were examined for active ingredients, formulation strategies, and use of botanical or sustainable excipients. The findings revealed that patented formulations predominantly rely on well-established UV filters such as zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, octyl methoxycinnamate, and avobenzone, often combined with antioxidants like ferulic acid and rutin for enhanced efficacy. Lipid-based excipients were widely used to improve texture, hydration, and product stability. Although many formulations exhibit a conservative ingredient profile, the strategic combination of UV filters with natural antioxidants and moisturizing lipids demonstrates a multifunctional approach aimed at enhancing both protection and user experience. Background/Objectives: Aseptic loosening is a major challenge in hip and knee arthroplasty. While radiostereometric analysis (RSA) is the gold standard for detecting early migration, it is static, costly, and requires metal beads. Provocation CT-based analysis studies implants under physiological stresses and offers a marker-free alternative with comparable accuracy. This systematic review evaluates its effectiveness, cost, and role in orthopedic imaging. Methods: A systematic review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Three databases were searched, with no date restrictions, using keywords related to the research area. The risk of bias was assessed using the RoB-1 tool. Results: The initial search identified 42 studies, with 6 ultimately included in the review. These studies involved 198 patients with an average age of 65.0 years. Provocation CT demonstrated higher sensitivity and specificity than standard radiographs, particularly in cases with inconclusive X-rays. Additionally, the radiation dose for CT scans varied across studies, with effective doses ranging from 0.2 mSv to 4.5 mSv per scan. Compared to X-ray, CT-based methods showed comparable or superior performance in motion detection, though direct clinical comparisons with RSA remain lacking. Conclusions: Provocation CT-based analysis is a valuable diagnostic tool for early detection of implant loosening, offering a potentially feasible, accurate, and cost-effective alternative to traditional methods. However, standardized protocols, broader economic evaluations, and prospective multicenter trials are needed to confirm its routine clinical applicability. Full article

Background/Objectives: Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) frequently metastasizes to the brain, significantly impacting patient prognosis and quality of life. Anlotinib, a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has shown promise in treating NSCLC with brain metastasis. So, we aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of anlotinib and various types of radiotherapy combinations used to treat NSCLC patients with brain metastasis regarding overall survival and the treatment of internal and external lesions. Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted in the databases PubMed, Scopus, WoS, MedLine, and Cochrane Library up to April 2024. Studies assessing the efficacy of anlotinib combined with whole-brain radiotherapy (WBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), or other radiotherapy modalities in NSCLC patients with brain metastasis were included. The primary outcomes were (a) the efficacy of anlotinib and radiotherapy on the intracranial lesions and OS and (b) the effectiveness of combined anlotinib and radiotherapy versus radiotherapy alone in NSCLC patients with brain metastasis. The secondary outcome was the efficacy of anlotinib and radiotherapy on extracranial progression. We used a combination of keywords and MeSH terms including ‘non-small cell lung cancer’ OR ‘NSCLC’, ‘brain metastases’, ‘anlotinib’, ‘radiotherapy’, ‘radiation therapy’, and ‘combined treatment’, among others. Boolean operators (AND, OR) were applied as appropriate to optimize the search strategy across databases. Results: Nine studies met the inclusion criteria, comprising 210 patients in the combination group and 228 patients in the radiotherapy alone group. The combination of anlotinib with radiotherapy showed a significant improvement in iPFS compared to radiotherapy alone, with a pooled risk ratio (RR) for iORR of 1.18 (95% CI: 1.00–1.39) and a pooled SMD for OS of 0.03 (95% CI: −0.29, 0.36). Radiotherapy combined with anlotinib also demonstrated enhanced intracranial and extracranial control rates. Conclusions: Anlotinib combined with radiotherapy, especially WBRT, offers a promising treatment strategy for NSCLC patients with brain metastasis, improving intracranial control. Further large-scale randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm these findings and optimize treatment protocols. Full article

The widespread presence of antibiotics in aquatic environments poses significant ecological and public health risks due to their persistence, antimicrobial activity, and contribution to resistance gene proliferation. This review systematically evaluated the advancements in antibiotic degradation using ionizing radiation (γ-rays and electron beam) from laboratory studies to practical applications. By using keywords such as “antibiotic degradation” and “ionizing irradiation OR gamma radiation OR electron beam,” 328 publications were retrieved from Web of Science, with China contributing 33% of the literature, and a number of global representative studies were selected for in-depth discussion. The analysis encompassed mechanistic insights into oxidative (•OH) and reductive (eaq) pathways, degradation kinetics influenced by absorbed dose (1–10 kGy), initial antibiotic concentration, pH, and matrix complexity. The results demonstrated ≥90% degradation efficiency for major antibiotic classes (macrolides, β-lactams, quinolones, tetracyclines, and sulfonamides), though mineralization remains suboptimal (<50% TOC removal). Synergistic integration with peroxymonosulfate (PMS), H2O2, or O3 enhances mineralization rates. This review revealed that ionizing radiation is a chemical-free, compatible, and highly efficient technology with effective antibiotic degradation potential. However, it still faces several challenges in practical applications, including incomplete mineralization, matrix complexity in real wastewater, and operating costs. Further improvements and optimization, such as hybrid system development (e.g., coupling electron beam with other conventional technologies, such as flocculation, membrane separation, anaerobic digestion, etc.), catalytic enhancement, and life-cycle assessments of this emerging technology would be helpful for promoting its practical environmental application. Background/Objectives: Despite conventional cytotoxic chemotherapy treatments, soft tissue sarcoma continues to remain a terminal diagnosis for most patients. Numerous chemotherapeutic agents have been trialed in soft tissue sarcoma, with marginal improvement in overall survival. Novel therapeutic approaches are needed to improve outcomes for this entity. Methods: the literature was reviewed, including a summary of pertinent adjuvant/neoadjuvant clinical trials and trials for metastatic disease. Results: Chemotherapeutic agent use in adjuvant/neoadjuvant trials provided limited if any evidence of the benefit of chemotherapy in this space. Despite multiple trials in the metastatic space, novel chemotherapeutic agents appear to have limited long-term benefits for the management of soft tissue sarcoma. Suggestions for further research, particularly with neoadjuvant clinical trials, were made. Conclusions: Chemotherapy remains an inadequate treatment option for soft tissue sarcoma, and novel therapies are needed. The neoadjuvant space provides an excellent opportunity to study the effects of innovative treatments in soft tissue sarcoma. Full article

Background/Objectives: Salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a rare but aggressive neoplasm that predominantly arises from the salivary glands, accounting for a significant proportion of salivary gland cancers. The aim of this literature review is to illustrate the current insights on ACC with regards to related genes and molecular pathways by analyzing original research articles from the period 2015–2025. Methods: An electronic search of literature was performed between January and February 2025 to identify all articles investigating the current insights on salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma and its related genes and molecular pathways. The search was conducted using MEDLINE (National Library of Medicine)-PubMed with restrictions concerning the date of publication. In particular, we focused on the period 2015–2025 using the following keywords: Salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma AND genes AND molecular pathways. This was followed by a manual search, and references were used to identify relevant articles. Results: In total, 41 articles were identified through the keywords. After the implementation of the time frame 2015–2025, 31 articles remained. Subsequently, by reading the titles and abstracts and thereby excluding non-original research articles and articles written in a language other than English, 23 articles remained. Conclusions: These studies identified 23 relevant genes or pathways whose analysis yielded the most recent data regarding their function. The classification of ACC is multifaceted, encompassing distinct histological subtypes that are crucial for determining prognosis and treatment approaches. Current oncological practices classify ACC based on these histological features alongside emerging genetic and molecular markers that promise to enhance our understanding of the disease’s biology. Diagnostic strategies have evolved, leveraging techniques such as biopsy and molecular diagnostics, which have significantly improved the detection and characterization of ACC. Regarding treatment, the management of ACC remains a challenge due to its propensity for local invasion and metastasis, with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy being the mainstays of therapy. The development of targeted therapies based on ACC’s molecular profile will allow for a better prognosis and an enhanced quality of life of patients. Full article

Background/Objectives: Given the significant economic and social burden of osteoporosis, there is growing interest in developing an efficient alternative to the traditional dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry (REMS) is an innovative, non-ionizing imaging technique that recently emerged as a viable tool to diagnose osteoporosis and estimate the fragility fracture risk. Nevertheless, its clinical use is still limited due to its novelty and continuing uncertainty of long-term performance. Methods: In order to evaluate the accuracy of the REMS, a systematic review of the English-language literature was conducted. Three databases were searched for relevant publications from 1 January 2015 until 1 December 2024 using the keyword combinations “(radiofrequency echographic multi spectrometry OR REMS) AND (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry OR DXA)”. The initial search yielded 602 candidate articles. After screening the titles and abstracts following the eligibility criteria, 17 publications remained for full-text evaluation. Results: The reviewed studies demonstrated strong diagnostic agreement between REMS and DXA. Additionally, REMS showed enhanced diagnostic capabilities in cases where lumbar bone mineral density measurements by DXA were impaired by artifacts such as vertebral fractures, deformities, osteoarthritis, or vascular calcifications. REMS exhibited excellent intra-operator repeatability and precision, comparable to or exceeding the reported performance of DXA. The fragility score (FS), a parameter reflecting bone quality and structural integrity, effectively discriminated between fractured and non-fractured patients. Moreover, REMS proved to be a radiation-free option for bone health monitoring in radiation-sensitive populations or patients requiring frequent imaging to assess fracture risk. Conclusions: This current study underscores the robustness of REMS as a reliable method for diagnosing and monitoring osteoporosis and evaluating bone fragility via the FS. It also identifies critical knowledge gaps and emphasizes the need for further prospective studies to validate and expand the clinical applications of REMS across diverse patient populations. Background: The purpose of this systematic review was to investigate the clinical outcome measures, either in separation or in conjunction with the Cobb angle, that were employed in randomized controlled trials to evaluate posture and spinal deformity. Methods: The PubMed, PEDro, OVID, and Scopus electronic databases were used to search for published articles from January 2004 to May 2024. All the searches included English language studies. Keywords were determined as “scoliosis, exercise, physical activity, brace, bracing, conservative treatment, rehabilitation, physiotherapy and physical therapy”. Results: The most commonly used clinical evaluation parameters other than the Cobb angle in the studies were the ATR and surface topography measurements. The most commonly used assessment methods were POTSI asymmetry assessment performed with measurements made on photographs, the WRVAS, a deformity perception assessment evaluated with different photographs, and the SRS-22 scale, a disease-specific quality of life assessment. Conclusions: New developments in the treatment of scoliosis have brought about alternative measurement techniques that offer a more comprehensive view of patient outcomes. As a result of the review of the literature, it has emerged that radiation-free, valid, and reliable multidimensional evaluations should be performed in follow-up and treatment efficacy evaluations after initial diagnosis in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun significantly damages the skin, leading to premature aging, hyperpigmentation, and oxidative stress that disrupts skin homeostasis. UV radiation increases the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), accelerating skin deterioration. Although sunscreens remain the primary method for UV protection, chemical-based formulations are often associated with side effects, such as allergic reactions and acne. To address these concerns, the inclusion of natural ingredients in sunscreen formulations has gained attention. Curcumin, an active compound found in turmeric (Curcuma longa) and Java turmeric (Curcuma xanthorrhiza), is well-known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This review explores the potential of curcumin as a natural ingredient for enhancing the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of sunscreen products. A systematic literature review was conducted, analyzing 200 articles sourced from Google Scholar and PubMed using keywords such as “Curcumin”, “Curcuma”, “Antioxidant”, “Anti-Inflammatory”, and “Sun Protection Factor”. Studies unrelated to UV protection were excluded. The findings, presented in tabular form, indicate that curcumin and Curcuma exhibit significant potential to enhance SPF values due to their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and UV-absorbing properties. Additionally, curcumin may aid in skin repair following UV-induced damage. However, the specific concentration of curcumin in various Curcuma species remains unknown, and further research is necessary to determine its optimal use. Consideration of additional excipients in sunscreen formulations is also required to maximize efficacy. In conclusion, curcumin demonstrates considerable promise as a sustainable and effective natural ingredient for protecting the skin from UV radiation, offering a safer alternative to conventional chemical-based sunscreens. Background: Brain calcifications, found in various conditions, may be incidental or crucial for diagnosis. They occur in physiological changes, infections, genetic diseases, neurodegenerative conditions, vascular syndromes, metabolic disorders, endocrine disorders, and primary tumors like oligodendroglioma. While often incidental, their presence can be vital for accurate diagnosis. Brain metastases are the most common neoplastic lesions in adults, with their incidence increasing due to improved diagnostic tools and overall oncologic patient survival. Calcifications within brain metastases are uncommon, mostly seen in patients treated with radiation therapy (RT). Although cases of calcified brain metastasis (CBM) are reported, large recent studies are scarce and the real incidence remains unclear. This lack of data raises the risk of underestimating CBM in the differential diagnosis of brain calcifications, potentially leading to misdiagnosis and delayed treatment, particularly when calcifications are observed without prior RT. Aim: This systematic review sought to assess the incidence of CBM in patients with identified primary tumors who underwent brain chemotherapy (CT) for staging. Additionally, the study aimed to explore the primary tumor types more frequently linked to CBM and determine whether CBM manifested initially or post-RT. Methods: A comprehensive search was performed across prominent medical databases (PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase) until 20 January 2024. The employed search method incorporated pertinent Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and keywords such as “calcification”, “brain metastasis”, and “CT scan”. Studies included in this review were publications focusing on CBM in patients with identified primary tumors who underwent brain CT for staging. Results: In a systematic review of 39 studies on CBM in patients with identified primary tumors, 98 papers were initially identified, with 52 chosen for full-text analysis. Among them, 39 were deemed eligible after excluding 13 for various reasons. The study investigates brain calcifications in 1115 patients with metastatic disease, revealing that 7.89% had brain metastases, with 25% showing calcifications ab initio. These calcifications were more common than previously reported, emphasizing the need for attention to intraparenchymal brain calcifications in oncologic patients. Most CBM originated from lung and breast adenocarcinomas, and their correlation with primary tumor calcifications was inconclusive. Conclusions: The study highlights the significance of identifying evolving lesions in oncologic patients, calling for increased awareness among neuroradiologists and shedding light on the prevalence and characteristics of CBM. Background: Reflecting the increasing interest and research on living a healthy life as society ages, there has been a surge in attention and studies on photodamage. Probiotics have been studied for their ability to enhance skin integrity and provide protection from ultraviolet radiation (UVR). However, despite this, extensive research has revealed various issues and side effects, prompting increased interest in alternative options that can effectively and safely protect the skin. We focused on postbiotics as a promising solution for photodamage, aiming to demonstrate their potential as a safe and stable alternative to probiotics. Methods: We investigated papers on “skin aging” or “photoaging” and “probiotics” or “postbiotics” from 2013 to 2023 using the Web of Science, PubMed, and Scopus. Additionally, we compared and analyzed publications, authors, countries, keywords, and citations using the VOS viewer program. Results: According to our search results, the majority of papers on photodamage and probiotics were published in PubMed, with the United States leading in publication volume among countries. The most common keywords were “photodamage” and “skin”. The most cited paper recorded 470 citations. Furthermore, upon focused analysis of five papers on postbiotics and photodamage, postbiotics demonstrated preventive and protective effects against skin photodamage. Conclusions: Postbiotics for photodamage show potential as a safe and stable alternative to probiotics. However, research on postbiotics and photodamage remains limited, and additional studies and long-term tracking are essential to substantiate our claims. Full article

Background: The incidence of patients showing neck metastasis and no obvious primary tumor at the initial diagnostic evaluation or neck cancer of unknown primary (NCUP) is rising. It is estimated that a relevant part of these tumors arises in the tonsillar crypts or base of the tongue and are p16+-related. However, today, the detection rate of the primary tumor is suboptimal. Identifying the primary tumor and its biomolecular characterization is essential since it influences the treatment administered, possibly reducing radiation fields and providing de-escalation to primary surgical management. However, p16 IHC (immunohistochemistry) might not be sufficient to diagnose HPV-related OPSCC. The other subset of patients discussed are the HPV-positive patients who have a history of tobacco exposure and/or p53 mutations. Possible factors that could negatively influence the outcomes of these patients are investigated and discussed below. So, this paper aims to analyze the diagnostic, bio-molecular, clinico-radiological, morphological, prognostic and therapeutical aspects of p16-positive OPSCC, highlighting the possible bias that can occur during the diagnostic and prognostic process. Methods: A narrative review was conducted to investigate the biases in the diagnostic and therapeutic process of two groups of patients: those who are p16-positive but HPV-negative patients, and those who are p16-positive and HPV-positive with exposure to traditional risk factors and/or p53 mutations. The keywords used for the literature research included the following: NCUP, OPSCC, p16IHC, HPV testing, p16 positive HPV negative OPSCC, p16 positive HPV positive OPSCC, tonsillectomy, tobacco exposure, p53 mutations, cystic neck metastasis, extranodal extension (ENE), radiotherapy, de-escalation and neck neck dissection. Results: HPV-positive OPSCC has specific clinico-radiological features. Bilateral tonsillectomy should be considered for the identification of the primary tumor. P16 IHC alone is not sufficient for diagnosing HPV-related OPSCC; additional detection methods are required. The role of tobacco exposure and p53 mutations should be investigated especially in cases of HPV-positive tumors. Extranodal extension (ENE) must be taken into consideration in the prognostic staging of HPV-positive tumors. Surgical primary treatment involving neck dissection (ND) and bilateral tonsillectomy followed by adjuvant radiation may represent the most appropriate approach for N3 cases. Diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutical implications must be addressed considering clinical, biomolecular and morphological aspects. At least today, the numerous biases that are still present influencing the diagnostic and prognostic process do not permit considering de-escalation protocols. Conclusions: A precise and accurate diagnosis is required in order to adequately stage and manage p16+ OPSCC, particularly with neck metastasis. The role of tobacco exposure and/or p53 mutations must be considered not only in p16+ OPSCC but especially in HPV-positive OPSCC. Until a more accurate diagnosis is possible, ENE should be considered even in p16+HPV+ OPSCC. Primary surgery with unilateral ND and bilateral tonsillectomy might be the treatment of choice given the numerous diagnostic and prognostic pitfalls. Therefore, it is inappropriate and risky to propose de-escalation protocols in routine clinical practice due to the risk of undertreatment. Full article

Cordyceps primarily consists of ascomycetes, a parasitic fungus that infects insects and arthropods. Recently, Cordyceps has been shown to manifest a diverse range of pharmacological activities, rendering it applicable for the treatment and mitigation of various diseases, such as diabetes, acute liver injury, and colitis. Many active constituents have been identified from Cordyceps sinensis, including cordycepin, adenosine, sterols, and polysaccharides. Polysaccharides constitute a primary active component of Cordyceps, exhibiting immunomodulatory effects. We searched the Web of Science database with the keywords of cordyceps, polysaccharide, and immune modulation; collected related studies from 2004 to 2024; and eliminated articles with low influence and workload. A review of the research advancements regarding the immunomodulatory effects of Cordyceps polysaccharides was conducted with the aim of furnishing valuable reference information. Research indicates that polysaccharides exhibiting immunomodulatory activity are predominantly sourced from Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris. Immunological experimental results demonstrate that Cordyceps polysaccharides can augment the activities of macrophages, lymphocytes, and dendritic cells while fostering the expression of immune-active substances such as cytokines and chemokines. Furthermore, animal experiments have substantiated the immunomodulatory effects of Cordyceps polysaccharides. These effects encompass ameliorating immune suppression induced by drugs or radiation, enhancing immune organ indices, elevating the expression of immunoreactive substances, and mitigating immune evasion prompted by tumors. In conclusion, Cordyceps polysaccharides exhibit significant immunomodulatory activity and merit further investigation. Full article

Background: Glioblastoma (GBM) is an extremely aggressive brain tumor that has few available treatment options and a dismal prognosis. Recent research has highlighted the potential of extracellular vesicles (MSC-EVs) produced from mesenchymal stem cells as a potential treatment approach for GBM. MSC-EVs, including exosomes, microvesicles, and apoptotic bodies, perform a significant function in cellular communication and have shown promise in mediating anti-tumor effects. Purpose: This systematic literature review aims to consolidate current findings on the therapeutic potential of MSC-EVs in GBM treatment. Methods: A systematic search was conducted across major medical databases (PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus) up to September 2024 to identify studies investigating the use of MSC-derived EVs in GBM therapy. Keywords included “extracellular vesicles”, “mesenchymal stem cells”, “targeted therapies”, “outcomes”, “adverse events”, “glioblastoma”, and “exosomes”. Inclusion criteria were studies published in English involving GBM models both in vivo and in vitro and those reporting on therapeutic outcomes of MSC-EVs. Data were extracted and analyzed based on EV characteristics, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic efficacy. Results: The review identified several key studies demonstrating the anti-tumor effects of MSC-EVs in GBM models. A total of three studies were included, focusing on studies conducted between 2021 and 2023. The review included three studies that collectively enrolled a total of 18 patients. These studies were distributed across two years, with two trials published in 2023 (66.7%) and one in 2021 (33.3%). The mean age of the participants ranged from 37 to 57 years. In terms of gender distribution, males were the predominant group in all studies. Prior to receiving MSC-EV therapy, all patients had undergone standard treatments for GBM, including surgery, chemotherapy (CT), and, in some cases, radiation therapy (RT). In all three studies, the targeted treatment involved the administration of herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase (HSVtk) gene therapy delivered to the tumor site, then 14 days of ganciclovir treatment. Outcomes across the studies indicated varying levels of efficacy for the MSC-EV-based therapy. The larger 2023 study reported fewer encouraging outcomes, with a median PFS of 11.0 months (95% CI: 8.3–13.7) and a median OS of 16.0 months (95% CI: 14.3–17.7). Adverse effects were reported in only one of the studies, the 2021 trial, where patients experienced mild-to-moderate side effects, including fever, headache, and cerebrospinal fluid leukocytosis. A total of 11 studies on preclinical trials, using in vitro and in vivo models, were included, covering publications from 2010 to 2024. The studies utilized MSCs as delivery systems for various therapeutic agents (interleukin 12, interleukin 7, doxorubicin, paclitaxel), reflecting the versatility of these cells in targeted cancer therapies. Conclusions: MSC-derived EVs represent a promising therapeutic approach for GBM, offering multiple mechanisms to inhibit tumor growth and enhance treatment efficacy. Their ability to deliver bioactive molecules and modulate the tumor microenvironment underscores their potential as a novel, cell-free therapeutic strategy. Future studies should optimize EV production and delivery methods and fully understand their long-term effects in clinical settings to harness their therapeutic potential in GBM treatment. Aerosol and aerosol-cloud radiation interactions significantly influence Earth’s radiative balance, hydrological cycle, global monsoons, atmospheric circulation, and climate, attracting substantial scientific attention. This study employs bibliometric and quantitative trend analyses to evaluate the development, knowledge structure, and research trends in aerosol and aerosol-cloud radiation interactions from 1999 to 2023 using Web of Science Core Collection data. Results reveal a consistent increase in publications and citations, indicating sustained attention in this field. The USA and China are identified as the most prolific countries, with significant contributions from institutions like the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, while the USA shows a recent decline in growth, China has demonstrated a significant upward trend in research contributions. Productive journals include Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics and the Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres, with prolific authors such as Babu S. Suresh and Li Zhanqing. A co-occurrence analysis of keywords identifies research topics focused on aerosol optical properties, aerosol types, aerosol radiation interactions, and aerosol-cloud interactions. Emerging trends emphasize advanced methodologies such as remote sensing, model simulation, and artificial intelligence, with growing attention to regions like the Southern Ocean and the Arctic. This comprehensive analysis provides valuable insights for researchers, identifying knowledge gaps and guiding future research directions in aerosol and aerosol-cloud radiation interactions, which are crucial for understanding their climatic and atmospheric impacts.
