Recruiting Section Editors-in-Chief for Veterinary Sciences

Veterinary Sciences (ISSN 2306-7381) is currently recruiting Section Editors-in-Chief for the following eight Sections:

Veterinary Sciences is an international and interdisciplinary open access journal. It publishes original research articles, reviews, communications, and short notes that are relevant to any research area of veterinary sciences, including the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, disorder and injury in animals. It is abstracted and indexed within Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), PubMed, and many other databases. Section Editors-in-Chief are responsible for the following:

  • Defining the aims and scope of the Section;
  • Advising on the strategic development of the Section;
  • Ensuring a high quality of the published content;
  • Nominating/inviting Guest Editors and optionally providing them with the authority to make final acceptance decisions for submitted articles;
  • Nominating/inviting contributors;
  • Nominating and leading the Section Editorial Board;
  • Promoting the journal at scientific conferences or through other venues.
