Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The 2022 7th International Conference on Intelligent Information Processing (ICIIP) is hosted by the Romanian-American University; organized by the Romanian Academy, Center for Mountain Economics; the Romanian Academy, Center for Financial and Monetary Research—Victor Slăvescu; and the International Engineering and Technology Institute. This conference is one of the leading international conferences in the research area of intelligent information processing. The main goal of this conference is to provide an innovative exchange platform for students, engineers, practitioners, faculties, and researchers from all over the world. Running since 2016, this conference will be held for the seventh time after a successful history of its previous versions in the past years from 2016 to 2021 that were held in various countries worldwide, including in Australia, China, Malaysia, Romania, and Thailand. ICIIP 2022 will be held during September 29–30, 2022, in Bucharest, Romania. This conference Special Issue is focused on addressing a wide range of theoretical aspects and applications of intelligent information processing.
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial intelligence, big data, bioinformatics and biomedicine;
- Business intelligence, cognitive modelling, and computational intelligence;
- Computer hardware and computer vision;
- Communication technologies, data mining, deep learning, fuzzy control, information technology, international technologies, and image processing;
- Information retrieval, information security, intelligent education, intelligent prediction, the Internet of Things, knowledge-based systems, logics, and logic programming;
- Multi-agent systems, multimedia signal processing, natural language processing, and signal processing;
- Wireless networks and software engineering.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Signals is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 1000 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
