Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cancer represents a complex disease continuum where nutrition plays a pivotal role from primary prevention to active treatment and long-term survivorship. This Special Issue examines the multifaceted relationship between nutrition, metabolic health, and cancer outcomes across all stages of this process. We aim to compile cutting-edge research and evidence-based practices on how nutritional factors and interventions can be effectively integrated throughout the cancer continuum to reduce cancer risk, optimize treatment outcomes, and improve both short-term and long-term health for patients and survivors.

This Special Issue welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies, and clinical trials on topics including nutritional factors, metabolic health, and dietary patterns in cancer prevention; managing treatment-related nutritional challenges; the role of specific nutrients and dietary approaches in cancer outcomes; personalized nutrition strategies for different cancer types and treatments; nutritional factors affecting cancer survivors' health; dietary interventions and nutritional associations in cancer care; and nutritional disparities across diverse populations.

We particularly encourage submissions that connect research with clinical practice, examine practical implementation strategies, and provide actionable evidence for improving primary prevention efforts and enhancing patient care and health outcomes throughout the cancer continuum.
