Dear Colleagues,
Terpene- and phenol-rich natural products represent a vast and chemically diverse group of bioactive compounds widely distributed in plants, microorganisms, and marine sources. Owing to their well-documented antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties, these compounds have attracted considerable attention in the fields of pharmacology, food science, and nutraceutical development. Continuous advances in extraction techniques, including green and sustainable approaches, have improved the efficiency and selectivity of isolating these valuable constituents.
This Special Issue, "Terpene and Phenol-Rich Natural Products: Extraction, Characterization and Biological Evaluation" aims to present recent progress in the isolation, structural elucidation, and bioactivity assessment of terpene- and phenol-based compounds. Contributions focus on innovative extraction methodologies, advanced analytical tools for characterization, and in vitro and in vivo evaluation of biological activities.
By bringing together multidisciplinary research, this issue seeks to deepen understanding of these natural products and support their further application in medicine, functional foods, and health-related industries.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
