Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cataract surgery remains the most frequently performed ophthalmic procedure worldwide. Over recent decades, technological development and innovative surgical strategies have significantly improved patient safety, visual outcomes, and quality of life.

This Special Issue aims to present recent advances, novel technologies, and evidence-based strategies in cataract surgery and perioperative management, with a focus on improving surgical precision and patient outcomes.
Topics include femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, advanced intraocular lens technologies, artificial intelligence-based diagnostics, surgical planning systems, and personalized surgical approaches.

For this Special Issue, we invite leading experts in the field to contribute high-quality original research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, meta-analyses, and clinical studies related to cataract surgery and related innovations.
