Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue brings together cutting-edge research on the emerging role of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) in screening, monitoring, and care delivery on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). HIV and TB continue to impose a disproportionate global disease burden, particularly in low- and middle-income settings, while the rising prevalence of NCDs—cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory conditions, and cancer—further strains healthcare systems worldwide. The intersection of infectious and non-communicable diseases presents unique clinical challenges, as patients living with HIV face elevated risks of cardiovascular and metabolic complications, while TB comorbidity complicates NCD management. Recent advances in AI, particularly agentic systems capable of autonomous reasoning, adaptive decision support, predictive analytics, and multimodal data integration, offer transformative opportunities for early detection, risk stratification, and personalized treatment across these disease domains. This Special Issue seeks original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and perspectives that explore epidemiological trends, novel biomarkers, digital health interventions, and the real-world implementation of AI-driven tools in clinical and public health practice. By uniting clinical and public health expertise with AI innovation, this collection aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, inform evidence-based policy, and accelerate the transition toward equitable, and precision-oriented health systems.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process.
