Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that this Special Issue, “Advancements and Innovations in Dental Implantology”, is now open for submissions. In contemporary dental practice, we can no longer conceive of complete oral rehabilitation without the use of dental implants. Implantology has rapidly evolved and the results are spectacular. Clinical specialists have come to insert implants in areas where a few years ago we only dreamed about. These clinical achievements could not be achieved without the help of the researchers who thoroughly explored this field.

This Special Issue aims to showcase original research and clinical studies that reflect the ongoing evolution of this field. We welcome contributions focused on, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Bone reconstruction and regenerative techniques.
  • Guided surgery and digital implant planning.
  • Immediate or delayed implant insertion.
  • Short- and long-term clinical outcomes.
  • Full-arch and single-tooth rehabilitations using implants.

We invite clinicians, researchers, and academics to share their latest findings and insights, and to help shape the future of dental implantology.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
