Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Orthognathic and cleft surgery represent dynamic and continually evolving areas within craniofacial surgery. Advances in diagnostic tools, surgical planning, and operative techniques—driven by rapid technological innovation—are significantly improving outcomes for patients with dentoskeletal deformities and craniofacial malformations.

This Special Issue will present a comprehensive overview of current developments in the diagnosis and surgical management of jaw deformities and cleft-related conditions, with an emphasis on applications of innovative technologies, including virtual surgical planning, 3D printing, and minimally invasive techniques, in both orthognathic and cleft surgery.

We invite clinicians and researchers in oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and related disciplines to contribute original research articles and review papers highlighting the latest evidence, techniques, and perspectives in this evolving field.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
