Composites Modelling and Characterization

A section of Journal of Composites Science (ISSN 2504-477X).

Section Information

The section "Composite Materials Simulation and Characterization" aims to study the multi-scale structure, performance evolution, and service behavior of composite materials. Through simulation and experimental verification, it reveals the inherent correlation of "composition - process - structure - performance" from the microscopic interface to the macroscopic structure of the materials. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, technologies such as machine learning can solve the performance prediction problems of composite materials caused by their multiphase heterogeneity and strong anisotropy, providing quantitative basis for material design, process optimization, and life assessment.
