Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are really happy to invite you to contribute to a Special Issue on “Dental Care and Oral Health in Adolescents and Children”. Currently, this field has remarkable progress because of technological innovations and research. It is essential to emphasize that dentistry plays a vital role in overall well-being. Poor oral health might affect quality of life, nutrition, speech, and systemic health. Therefore, it is extremely important to maintain good oral health. Hence, children and adolescents should be provided with systematic preventive and therapeutic dental care.
The goal of this Special Issue is to present current developments in pediatric dentistry, with the aim of connecting research and clinical application. We welcome reviews and original research articles concerning various aspects of dental care and oral health in adolescents and children. Potential topics for submission might encompass, but are not confined to, oral health, oral diseases, diagnostic methods, dental treatment, treatment methods, the connection between oral and general health, and special care dentistry.
We encourage contributions that mainly showcase interdisciplinary collaborations, cross-cutting methodologies, and translational research endeavors.
We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions to this Special Issue.
Kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Karolina Gerreth
Guest Editor
