Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Minimally invasive techniques have revolutionized the management of digestive diseases, offering reduced surgical trauma, faster recovery, and improved patient outcomes. However, challenges remain in optimizing patient selection, procedural standardization, and long-term efficacy. This Special Issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine aims to highlight recent advancements in laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic approaches, addressing both technical innovations and clinical outcomes.
We welcome original research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses on novel minimally invasive techniques for benign and malignant digestive diseases, hybrid surgical-endoscopic approaches, AI and digital health integration, and strategies to enhance safety and efficiency. Spectacular case reports that provide unique insights into complex interventions will also be considered. Contributions from surgeons, gastroenterologists, and interdisciplinary teams are encouraged to foster innovation and improve clinical practice. By gathering high-quality research, this Special Issue seeks to advance the field and shape the future of minimally invasive digestive surgery. We look forward to your contributions.
