Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue will explore the evolving landscape of psychosis research and clinical practice, highlighting recent advances and emerging therapeutic approaches. We invite contributions that examine innovative diagnostic tools, neurobiological mechanisms, and evidence-based interventions for psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, brief psychotic episodes, and substance-induced psychosis.

Key areas of interest include the following: precision medicine approaches that utilize genetic and neuroimaging biomarkers; novel pharmacological interventions and their mechanisms of action; psychosocial interventions and recovery-oriented care models; digital health technologies and telemedicine applications; early intervention strategies and prevention programs; cognitive enhancement therapies; and the integration of patient-reported outcomes with clinical assessments. Both original research articles and comprehensive reviews are encouraged, with emphasis on translating scientific discoveries into improvements in clinical practice that enhance the outcomes and quality of life for individuals experiencing psychosis.
