Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The last decade has seen a number of key advances in adjuvant radiotherapy in breast cancer, moving toward improving cancer survival and reducing late toxicity for the heart, lungs, and contralateral breast. The use of deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) for left-sided breast cancer and prone positioning has been adopted to address this issue. Further techniques include reduced volumes, altered fractionations, and de-escalation algorithms in the early stage based on clinical genomic profiles and in postmastectomy settings after neo-adjuvant chemotherapy in combination with immunotherapy. Neo-adjuvant SBRT is currently a work in progress. For this Special Issue, we welcome the submission of papers on new advances and approaches, exploring their technical, treatment-related, and clinical benefits.
