Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cancer remains a major public health challenge, with an estimated 18,741,966 new cases reported worldwide in 2022. Projections indicate an increase ranging from 106.7% in Africa to 20.5% in Europe. Consequently, cancer prevention and control have become strategic priorities for governments, healthcare professionals, and researchers.
A better understanding of the cancer burden and its associated risk factors, advances in early diagnostic technologies, optimized therapeutic approaches, and equitable access to healthcare services are essential to improving cancer prevention and control.
For this Special Issue, we invite authors to submit papers focusing on cancer information systems for planning and evaluation, innovations in screening programs, therapeutic advancements, and analyses of disparities in healthcare access.
