Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue will provide an up-to-date, comprehensive overview of current approaches, challenges, and innovations in the care of individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI), bringing together contributions from leading clinicians, researchers, and rehabilitation experts to highlight recent advances in diagnosis, neurorehabilitation, assistive technologies, and long-term patient management. A particular emphasis will be placed on multidisciplinary strategies integrating medical, surgical, and rehabilitative perspectives, as well as novel interventions in neuroplasticity, neuromodulation, and robotic-assisted rehabilitation. We also welcome studies addressing psychosocial outcomes, patient-centered care models, and aspects of health policy influencing SCI management and quality of life. By showcasing high-quality original research articles and systematic reviews, this Special Issue will promote cross-disciplinary dialogue and foster evidence-based innovations in this field.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
