Upcoming Partner Conferences (3)
Porto, Portugal
The EVACES Association and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) are pleased to announce that the Eleventh International Conference on Experimental Vibration Analysis of Civil Engineering Structures, EVACES 2025, will be held in Porto, Portugal, from the 2nd to 4th July, 2025.
This conference is devoted to showcasing recent research advances on vibration-based structural assessment, monitoring, and control of Civil Engineering structures, such as buildings, bridges, stadia, dams, or wind turbines, aiming to provide a forum for practitioners and researchers from all over the world to exchange and share their views and experiences related to the measurement, data processing, and use of experimental vibration analysis for civil engineering structures.
This conference is intended for structural engineers, researchers, and associated professionals interested in the latest achievements and developments in research, instrumentation, monitoring, signal processing, structural integrity, and vibration mitigation.
The ten previous conferences in this series were held in Bordeaux (France, 2005), Porto (Portugal, 2007), Wroclaw (Poland, 2009), Ouro Preto (Brazil, 2011), Varenna (Italy, 2013), Zürich (Switzerland, 2015), San Diego (USA, 2017), Nanjing (China, 2019), Tokyo (Japan, 2021), and Milan (Italy, 2023).
Owing to the success of these events, EVACES has naturally become a key conference in Experimental Structural Dynamics for Civil Engineering structures, reflecting not only the state of the art in the field but also addressing industrial developments and applications.
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), in connection with the EVACES association, invites you to participate in EVACES 2025.

Aachen, Germany
"Forum Bauinformatik" (https://fbi2025.rwth-aachen.de/) is an annual event that aims to promote scientific exchange between young researchers from the field of computing in civil engineering.
- When? 24–26th September, 2025.
- Where? Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße 1, 52074 Aachen, Germany.
Forum Bauinformatik was first organized in Weimar in 1989 as an event by professors of computing in civil engineering for researchers and students. The first forum, "by young scientists for young scientists", took place in Cottbus in 1990. In 1991 in Berlin, the name "Forum Bauinformatik" was coined. Since then, young researchers from the field of computing in civil engineering have met each year to discuss their work. Forum Bauinformatik is organized annually by a chair or institute of the participating universities of the Bauinformatik working group.
This year's forum is organized by the following chairs and institute:
- Chair of Computing in Civil Engineering and Geoinformation Systems and Geodetic Institute (gia);
- Chair of Design Computation (DC);
- Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D).
This interdisciplinary event, held at RWTH Aachen University, provides a platform for doctoral candidates and students to present and discuss their research work.
Topics of interest encompass all areas of construction informatics, including the following:
- Building Information Modeling (BIM);
- Semantic Web and Linked Building Data;
- Digital Twins and Smart Cities;
- Visualization (AR, VR, XR);
- Structural Health Monitoring (SHM);
- User Behavior and Indoor Environmental Quality;
- AI and Machine Learning;
- Design Support;
- Big Data and Data Mining;
- Image Processing/Computer Vision;
- Sustainability and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA);
- Sensors and Robotics;
- Simulation and Optimization;
- Geoinformation Systems/Geoinformatics.
