We are pleased to invite you to contribute to this Special Issue on "Mental Health Promotion in the Workplace" for the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, which aims to advance our understanding of mental health promotion in workplace settings by providing a platform for high-quality research in this field. This Special Issue will cover a range of topics that align with the journal's scope, emphasising interdisciplinary perspectives from psychology, occupational health, human resource management, and organisational behaviour.
We are particularly interested in capturing diverse approaches to mental health promotion in the workplace, ranging from individual-level interventions to organisational reforms. We welcome both original research articles and reviews. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Examine the effectiveness of workplace mental health initiatives;
- Explore the role of organisational culture in supporting employee well-being;
- Identify best practices for managers and policymakers to foster a mentally healthy work environment;
- Strategies for a successful return to work;
- Strategies for reducing stigma and promoting open discussions on mental health;
- The role of leadership in supporting employee mental well-being;
- The impact of flexible work arrangements on mental health;
- Burnout prevention and stress management strategies;
- The intersection of remote work and mental health challenges;
- Technology and digital interventions for workplace mental health.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Giouliana Kadra-Scalzo
