Travel Award

The application deadline for the Hydrology 2025 Travel Award has been extended. Entries will be accepted until 30 June 2025. We are looking forward to receiving applications from all over the world.


The Hydrology Travel Award was launched in 2019 and is presented every year to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of hydrology, which helps to grow their profiles. The application process is open from November 2024 to March 2025, and winners are announced by the end of April 2025.

The Prize:
– CHF 800;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2025 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information regarding the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head that also confirms the applicant’s status.
