Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue will explore and share the latest advancements in forensic science and legal medicine, with a specific focus on the integration of novel analytical techniques and investigative procedures. We invite the submission of original research articles, reviews, and case studies showcasing innovative approaches across all stages of forensic investigation, from the crime scene to autopsy and laboratory analyses.

The Special Issue will highlight interdisciplinary methodologies that enhance the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of forensic processes. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, digital forensics in crime scene documentation, advances in post mortem imaging and autopsy techniques, molecular and toxicological innovations, and new protocols in trace evidence analysis.

By bridging the gap between traditional forensic methods and emerging technologies, this Special Issue will foster collaboration among forensic pathologists, laboratory scientists, and legal experts. Our aim is to contribute to the evolution of best practices in forensic investigations and support the scientific community in addressing complex medico-legal challenges.

We encourage submissions from researchers and professionals working at the intersection of forensic science and legal medicine who are committed to advancing this field.
