Optimization and Allocation of Network Resources

As modern networks continue to evolve rapidly, the need for efficient optimization and allocation of resources has become more critical than ever. The surge in data traffic and technological advancements demand innovative strategies to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of network systems, including wireless, wired, and hybrid networks.

This Special Issue aims to gather pioneering research that addresses these challenges by exploring novel algorithms and techniques for resource management. Topics of interest include dynamic allocation, energy efficiency, scheduling, security, and AI-driven solutions. Our objective is to provide a platform for discussing both current advancements and future trends in network resource optimization, especially in the context of emerging technologies such as 5G/6G and the Internet of Things (IoT).

By bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical applications, this Special Issue seeks to offer valuable insights into the strategies and technologies shaping the future of networking. We aim to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between academia and industry, contributing to the development of next-generation network technologies.

We encourage submissions that cover a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, the following:

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Electronics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
