Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue, titled “Innovations in HIV Diagnostics and Monitoring”, aims to showcase recent advances in the development and application of diagnostic tools that are transforming HIV medicine. We welcome contributions that highlight novel technologies for HIV detection, early diagnosis, and disease monitoring, as well as studies that evaluate biomarkers, resistance testing, and therapeutic monitoring approaches. Manuscripts addressing point-of-care and rapid testing, digital and mobile diagnostics, next-generation sequencing, and AI-driven strategies are particularly encouraged. We are also interested in diagnostic innovations for HIV-related co-infections and comorbidities, as well as in implementation studies that assess the clinical, epidemiological, and public health impact of new diagnostic strategies. By bringing together cutting-edge research across laboratory science, clinical practice, and global health, this Special Issue seeks to advance the role of diagnostics in improving HIV prevention, treatment, and long-term care.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
