Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Reproductive tract disorders include ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and male infertility due to genetic or acquired testicular dysfunction. These conditions share overlapping molecular pathways involving DNA repair, hormonal regulation, and immune surveillance. A clearer understanding of these mechanisms is needed to improve diagnosis and treatment.
This Special Issue focuses on the application of multi-omics and transcriptomic approaches to reproductive tract disorders. We invite studies that use genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, or metabolomic data to address clinically relevant questions. Submissions that integrate multiple layers of molecular information are of particular interest. Work employing single-cell or spatial transcriptomics, machine learning for biomarker identification, or network-based analyses is welcome.
Topics of interest include:
- Multi-omics integration for biomarker discovery and patient stratification;
- Single-cell and spatial transcriptomics of reproductive tissues and tumors;
- Genetic and epigenetic determinants of male and female infertility;
- Molecular mechanisms of therapy resistance in reproductive cancers;
- Liquid biopsy approaches for disease monitoring;
- Computational methods for assessing preclinical model fidelity.
We encourage submissions of original research, methods papers, and reviews that emphasize biological validation and clinical relevance.
