The Biology of Cilia and Flagella
This FASEB Science Research Conference focuses on the Biology of Cilia and Flagella. Cilia and flagella are of profound medical importance. The understanding of cilia and flagella has increased in depth and breadth as we learn more about these remarkable organelles. A range of sessions will covering basic topics in ciliary structure/transport/motility, centrioles/basal bodies, ciliary dynamics and signaling, cilia in the nervous system, and cutting-edge technologies, as well as clinical topics on Polycystic kidney disease, development and disease, and human ciliopathies.
