Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue, “Advances in Surgical Management of Ovarian Cancer”, will present a comprehensive overview of evolving surgical strategies and their impact on patient care. It will highlight innovations in cytoreductive techniques, minimally invasive approaches, and the integration of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). A key focus will be on perioperative outcomes, including morbidity, recovery metrics, and quality-of-life indicators, which are critical in optimizing surgical decision-making and enhancing patient-centered care. This Special Issue will also explore multidisciplinary collaboration, surgical planning in advanced and recurrent disease, and the role of precision medicine in tailoring operative interventions. By bringing together leading voices in gynecologic oncology, this Special Issue will inform clinical practice, guide future research, and improve both short- and long-term outcomes for patients undergoing surgery for ovarian cancer.
