This Mayo Clinic Cancer Care 2024 Nursing CNE Conference provides an overview of many aspects of oncology care, including pharmacy updates, integrative therapies, nutrition, radiation therapy, pharmacogenomics, supportive services, ethics, updates to CAR-T, sexual health, home infusion programs, caring for diverse populations, and powerful patient stories.

Target Audience

This CNE conference is designed for nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with cancer and their families.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, the participants should be able to:

  • Describe the concepts of oncological care.
  • Identify updates in clinical and pharmacology therapies.
  • Outline the role of the nurse in oncology care.

The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science designates estimates it will last for a maximum of 15.25 ANCC contact hours.

ASWB

 

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is approved to offer social work education via the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 15.25 general continuing education credits.
