Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

New approaches to the skull base are constantly being developed with a focus on minimally invasive approaches. Endoscopy allowed the dissection of anterior and middle skull base lesion without a single skin incision. However, the path of the skull base surgeon begins with a thorough knowledge of neuroanatomy.

We invite authors to submit their original papers about neurosurgery and neuroanatomy to Brain Sciences (IF:3.3, SCIE, and Q2).

This Special Issue will highlight descriptive neurosurgical anatomy (endoscopic skull base approaches, skull base lesions, vascular neurosurgery), human neuroscientific molecular anatomy, minimally invasive surgical techniques, neuroimaging studies (MRI, DSA, DTI, etc.), neuropathology, intraoperative visualization technologies, functional neurosurgical procedures (deep brain stimulation, focused ultrasound, etc.), human clinical research studies, and literature reviews.
