Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Grape wine is undoubtedly the most popular fruit-derived fermented alcoholic beverage and it has a long history. Other fruit-derived fermented alcoholic beverages (referred to as fruit wines here), cider in particular, are also popular in certain parts of the world. Consumer interest in fruit wines is growing and more research attention is directed toward this category of alcoholic beverages. This Special Issue is devoted to fermented alcoholic beverages derived from tropical, subtropical and temperate fruits, other than grapes. The aim is to encourage research, development and commercialisation of fruit wines to meet consumer demand for novel alcoholic beverages. To this end, I would like to invite submissions related to all types of fruit wines.

Submissions can be made to this Special Issue as of 1 July 2017, and can be directly submitted online by registering at www.mdpi.com.
