Section Information
The Animal Welfare section is committed to promoting the well-being of animals in diverse contexts, including agriculture, research, zoos, laboratories, sport and as companions and wildlife. It covers a wide range of topics, such as assessing animal welfare through indicators and tools. The welfare section publishes both original research on animal welfare and reviews of research studies. Additionally, this section explores the ethical and legal aspects of animal welfare, including animal rights and legislation. It emphasizes the significance of education in advocating for animal welfare. The goal is to enhance knowledge and encourage practices that guarantee humane treatment and improve the welfare of animals in various settings.
