29 May 2026 AI Webinar | Governing Trustworthy AI Outputs in a Sensor-Dense Society: Privacy, Auditability and Responsible Deployment, 29 May 2026

Online

This webinar is being held in conjunction with the pre-symposium seminar of ISTA-PSI 2026, taking place on May 29, 2026, in Bangkok. With participants joining both from the seminar venue and online from around the world, this hybrid format itself reflects the interconnected, sensor-rich society that increasingly defines contemporary digital infrastructure. As AI systems become deeply embedded within public domains—including smart cities, transportation networks, and online platforms—the challenge extends far beyond model performance alone. Central concerns now revolve around how the output of these systems can be governed in ways that ensure privacy protection, accountability, transparency, and long-term societal trust.

While forms of output-oriented regulation have long existed through policies and oversight frameworks established by regulatory authorities, such approaches have often lacked robust technical mechanisms for enforcement, verification, and continuous auditing. Consequently, their effectiveness in real-world AI deployments has remained limited.

Today’s webinar brings together researchers and practitioners to examine these emerging challenges and opportunities from interdisciplinary perspectives. Through discussions spanning governance, architecture, regulatory mechanisms, and technically verifiable accountability frameworks, this session aims to foster new collaborations and help shape a shared research agenda for trustworthy and socially responsible AI systems.
