Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Crop growth regulation has long been a focal point in agricultural science. Historically, it evolved from basic observations of plant responses to environmental factors to the discovery of key hormones and genetic controls. Advances in molecular biology and physiology have deepened our understanding of the complex mechanisms governing crop development and yield.

This special issue aims to integrate molecular and physiological perspectives to provide comprehensive insights into crop growth regulation. It covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to hormone signaling, gene expression, stress responses, and metabolic pathways that influence crop performance.

We are particularly interested in cutting-edge research that utilizes advanced technologies such as CRISPR, omics approaches, and high-throughput phenotyping. Studies that reveal novel regulatory networks or innovative strategies for crop improvement are highly encouraged.

We welcome original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that contribute novel findings or synthesize existing knowledge in the field of crop growth regulation. Contributions should highlight molecular and physiological mechanisms and their potential applications in agriculture.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Agronomy is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
