Weed Science and Weed Management
A section of Agronomy (ISSN 2073-4395).
Section Information
Crop and pasture producers must upscale production to meet the needs of a growing global population facing new challenges due to the changing climate, extreme weather events, rising production costs, the spread of new and invasive pests and weeds, herbicide and pesticide resistance, and adoption of sustainable cropping systems. The Weed Science and Weed Management Section welcomes novel research contributions and review articles on recent advances related to the following topics:
- Precision weed management;
- New technologies for weed management;
- Herbicide resistance surveillance and management;
- Physiology and genetics of herbicide resistance;
- Weed ecology and biology;
- Weed invasion;
- Weed identification, taxonomy and systematics;
- Weed genomics;
- New and alternative technologies for weed management;
- Weed seed/progagule biology;
- Weed biosecurity;
- Weed physiology.
