Meeting of the Joint EAPR Sections Agronomy & Physiology and Post Harvest 2026

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is the fourth-most important crop in the world with global production reaching 390 million tons in 2024 (FAOSTAT). It is a healthy and highly nutritious crop that uses less water and produces more food per hectare than many cereals.
This forum promotes scientific and technical exchange on all potato-related topics.
The joint section meeting of the European Association for Potato Research (EAPR) will provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge on potato, including agronomy, precision agriculture, biochemistry, physiology, postharvest assessment, potato storage and potato processing. The conference is co-organized by the Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute – National Research Institute and the Agronomy Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the honorary patronage of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The conference will feature lectures by internationally renowned scientists, research presentations, posters, and a planned excursion. It will offer those interested in potato issues the opportunity to meet with colleagues from around the world.
On behalf of the organizers, we invite you to register and submit your abstracts. EAPR offers financial support to encourage student participation: there will be eight fee waivers for students; please find the details on our website.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Warsaw!
