MDPI will be attending the BERA Conference 2024 and WERA Focal Meeting, hosted by the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, from 8 to 12 September 2024.
The British Educational Research Association (BERA) is the leading authority on educational research in the UK, supporting and representing scholars, practitioners and everyone engaged in educational research both nationally and internationally. They run a major international conference each year alongside a diverse and engaging series of events and publish high-quality research in their peer-reviewed journals, reports, book series and groundbreaking BERA Blog.
The World Education Research Association (WERA) is an association of national, regional, and international specialty research associations aimed at advancing education research as a scientific and scholarly field. It was established on 18 April 2009 in San Diego, California, USA. Each year, WERA holds a Focal Meeting in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of a WERA member association. Focal Meetings consist of a series of paper and symposia sessions, lectures and other substantive activities focusing on issues of significance to education research through a world-wide perspective.
BERA is delighted to be partnering with WERA for this event, as it is an excellent opportunity to celebrate BERA’s 50th anniversary and WERA’s 15th anniversary as learned societies. Manchester is a melting pot of cultures and languages, with over 200 languages being spoken within the city, making it a truly diverse and enriching place to explore. That strength in diversity also applies to the community of researchers and ideas that we hope to see presented at the conference.
The following MDPI journals will be represented at the conference:
Our representatives, Ms. Allie Shi and Ms. Anya Osborn, are eager to answer your questions and address any queries that you may have.
If you are planning to attend this conference, please feel free to start a conversation with us at our booth. For more information about the conference, please visit the following website: https://www.bera.ac.uk/conference/bera-conference-2024-and-wera-focal-meeting.
